Shoshannah Stern

I received an email from Lynn asking me to post this, and I REALLY want to go.

Shoshannah Stern is live and in person coming in October 2007 to Nashville TN.
For more information, visit the event website:
http://www.gatecommunications.org/gatecomm/celsign07/celsign07entry.htm
She will be available for pictures and to Sign autographs.

Because of Dragoncon, I really haven’t thought beyond Labor Day weekend in a long, long time. Anyone in the Nashville area going?

Shaun O’Mac Radio - 8/26/07

Monday, August 27th, 2007
Shaun OMac Radio

While I had neglected to mention it here on the blog, I was a guest on Shaun’s show last night, pimping out the panels at Dragoncon that I’m running about Jericho and talking about the upcoming Fall Season in general. I had a blast, as usual, but also because I finally got to actually talk with wonderful Margi who writes for Watching Battlestar Galactica and the brand spanking new Watching Bionic Woman. Along with Margi, Kenn Gold from MediaBlvd.com and the BlogTalkRadio’s show, The Two Doctors, which I don’t get to listen live to due to the time difference, but I adore their podcasts while I’m at work.

Don’t forget, if you’re going to Dragoncon this Labor Day weekend, stop into the Hilton and look for the Apocalypse Rising Track. Final schedule has my Jericho Season One Review at 2:30pm ET and Jericho: Where Do We Go From Here? on Monday at 11:30am ET. I’d really love to meet some of y’all!

John Turtletaub Signs New Deal With CBS

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007
Turtletaub

SyFyPortal is reporting that John Turletaub’s studio, Junction Entertainment, and CBS have signed a new first-look deal, which also brings along Jericho co-executive producers Karim Zreik and Dan Shots.

“They are smart, collaborative and have been extremely instrumental in making the show a cult favorite,” said David Stapf, president of CBS Paramount, according to Variety. “They had a clear vision of the direction of the show both in look and story. We’re fortunate that Jon not only brought his sense of humor, but his cinematic style to television.”

Want to Be A Panelist at Dragoncon?

Sunday, August 5th, 2007
Apocalypse Rising @ Dragoncon

I’m in a bit of a bind, guys. Are any of y’all heading out to Dragoncon at the end of the month? If so, I could use some help with the panels that I’m running for the Apocalypse Rising Track, where I’m in charge of the two Jericho panels.

So, if you adore the show as much as I do, and feel like you have something to say about the first season of the show, and where you think they’re going to be taking us this coming season, feel free to use the contact form or email me directly at amber.hansford@gmail.com with the words DragonCon in the subject, and why you think you’d like to be on either panel.

Thanks!
