Brad Beyer, who plays Stanley Richmond on Jericho, was interviewed recently in Greater Milwaukee Today by Melissa Rigney Baxter. While he’s mum on any spoilers for the upcoming Spring Season, the article does give a little insight as to why he wanted the role.
“It’s really about a town coming together at a lot of levels, trying to find the bright side of the situation. It’s a lot about family,” said Beyer, who plays farmer Stanley Richmond.
Although there are scary elements of the show, including news that major cities such as Denver, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Chicago have been hit by nuclear bombs, the true stories revolve around the way the town of Jericho has banded together, survived and helped one another.
The biggest thing that impressed me was how completely down to earth Brad Beyer seems, compared to most up and coming actors out there. It’s nice to see that he still makes time for his family even though he’s on a popular television show.
