Jericho Has Been Cancelled by CBS
After a promising start and rocky second half of the season following a hiatus, serialized apocalyptic drama “Jericho” won’t return for a second season. However, the show’s executive producer/showrunner Carol Barbee is expected to stay at CBS and CBS Paramount Network TV as executive producer/showrunner on new drama series “Swingtown,” sources said.
Simply for the fact that Carol Barbee will be working on Swingtown means that I will be watching it, and I’m glad that someone who is so passionate about her shows will be doing some great things.
But it doesn’t make it any better that CBS carried on with shows that I could never get involved in, no matter how hard I tried, but wouldn’t give Jericho a shot.

This is terrible. I love this show. I record it every week and have told all my friends about it. Meanwhile, Without a Trace chugs along. I just don’t get it.

Why do they keep doing this! I think those who have watched Jericho from the beginning know how good it really is. They just finally exposed the real plot lines and twists! How will it end! NBC did this with Surface and possibly Studio 40, and now CBS with Jericho.
This really sucks. I know that I have my bag of peanuts on the way!

I am so sad! My mom and I both love this show, and have watched every episode from the very beginning. The finale really left us hanging: Who will live? Who will die? Who will get the farms? I hate that now I’ll never know.
