Now That Jericho’s Back, Who Will Be Returning?

While the joy of the Saving of Jericho is still high, Gary Bourgeaultat the Biz of Showbiz makes a valid point by asking who will be coming back now that Jericho has been renewed?

To begin with, the writers had already departed, and not all of them will be able to get back into the project, although several look like they will be returning.

Executive producer for the show, Carol Barbee has already been transferred to another project as well, now working on another CBS midseason drama “Swingtown.”

The network confirmed that it has options on all the actors involved with the series, but there will have to be a number of changes to meet budget requirements: in other words, not all of the original characters will be returning for the shorter second season.

This is something that does worry me, because I really don’t want the dynamic that has worked so well this past season to be broken apart because the cast and crew needed to find work in other shows or venues.

What do you think? Even without the availability of all of the cast and crew a guarantee, do you think that the show will be able to live up to the most amazing season that they just had?

As far as we are aware all the major characters have resigned & will be back. That’s according to Skeet. Carol Barbee will still be helping. Personally, I don’t see that anything will change except scenes that would be expensive to film. They have mentioned that.
Jericho reruns begin July 6th at 9 p.m. EST.

So long as Jake & Hawkins are back I’m cool. Oh, and Emily (Ashley Scott is HOT)!

Actually, I wouldn’t mind seeing Gray return as well. He’s annoying, but you need that character that everyone loves to hate…

Shouldn’t bee too bad. Even if a few of the cast won’t be back, they can use that to kill off the character to great effect.

If someone might not be back, they could do a raid on the town. Kill off those that can’t come back, and abduct the ones who might. They’ll have a bit of breathing room to sort out other obligations and furthur the story.

I should sooooo write for TV. *L*

The main character that I loved so much is already gone so what does it matter?
